hmmm... still tryg hard to get into top gear man... hahaha... n exams are like 2ml but im stil like feeling damn slack... will be a hectic 2wks for me though... my 4 papers, driving test and my scholarship interview wif NCSS which i would really love to secure...
aniwaes... ytd cherylene was like jokingly saying that i "abandon" her again when i told her i was studyg with joseph after i had said that ill be all hers on monday earlier in the afternoon... she has said somethg like tat a few times and sometimes i dunno if shes joking...
the last time she kindof got angry wif me because i went to play bball while we were studyg 2gethr, i got kindof perturbed too.. i just feel that wherever she wanted to go, and for how long, or if she had to alter our plans to meet her frens or somethg, i have never complained that she abandoned me...
but then again, she never even like raise her voice or anythg la... which i greatly appreciate... cuz everytime we have disputes we never ever shout or throw thgs like wad i heard happened to a couple in hall recently... i think sometimes i might be oversensitive oso la... so... i guess... maybe im just oversensitive when shes joking abt the abandoning thg... so i guess dear, ya r the best =)
aniwaes, i think if one has to be "abandoned" awhile because the other one is pursuing somethg he or she wants to or need to do, i guess the "abandoned" one should not stop the person rite... if not the person wun be happy rite?? hmm, just penning down some of my recent thots... exam time... dun think will have time to blog... so seeya guys soon n gd luck to all =)

the GRADUATE club... hahaha... oopss salted egg, stewed pork, fermented beancurd, chicken legs, prawn floss, fish with bittergourd chye poh egg, dou miao, fish cake, fish in black beans, sambal sotong... mapo doufu!!!!!
bahasa indon lunch with ibu agnes at lucky plaza tong luo shao, doraemon's favorite avocado n... some drink tats coconut juice mix with bandung me n my project matesytd i suggested to cherylene tat we shd go try the porridge buffet at the guild house out... because there has been this super duper big banner opposite the deck... we asked the waitress at the entrance whethr only the NUS alumni pple can dine here... she looked unsure and said shld be ok... so i proceeded to sit down lo... cuz the buffet is just 15 bucks... damn worth it... ended up the manager came and i asked her again and she said onli NUS club pple can dine here... but she said its ok since we alreadi sat down... though she as super grouchy abt it.. hahaha... but heck la, despite being abit paiseh, the food is damn gd!!!! and there were even dished that we anted to order but du=in have space to fill animore, hahhaha
had a bahasa indon lunch with my ibu.. damn shiok... she even invited me to her house in Java... she said that her mum loves to cook and i can just stay at her house... see how lo... i wanna work man... hope can get a job 2gether wif HH man... hahaa... it shld be damn fun if we can work 2gether heh... aniwae i love bahasa indon... hope my grades are gd then ill continue to lvl 3...
cant get into top gear even til now... realli needa focus and study... RAAAAHHHH chiong ah....

there have been times in my life when i wonder whether i have as many frens as i think... for some of my frens, it has always been me asking them out... sometimes i do wonder, if i dun ask them out, will they ask me out? so sometimes, i realli dunno if my frens miss meetg me...
so when i was awoken by jasmine's sms, i was delighted, albeit feeling abit sian... cuz jasmine said she has finished her exams and asked when i wanted to meet her... WHEN MY EXAMS HAVENT EVEN STARTED!!!! hahahaha... but gal, that realli meant alot to me... its always nice to know tat a friendship isnt just me tryg to sustain it =)

peiqin and the backstreet boys??? me and dear at manhatten fish market at clarke quay mushrooms!!! flame grilled prawns... they wanna assure u it is flame grilled hahaha seafood platter... oysters, fish, prawns, calamari... random durian eatg session!!! dear smiling like she was in a durian ad... YYUUUMMYYY!!!!me n dear at villa bali!!! the dome shaped entrance to our pavillion seat at villa bali... lychee martini and sexy touchlast day of freedom... and we realli had so much fun!!! we wanted to eat ramen at clarke quay but ended up there was like a super duper long queue... so we had to settle for manhattens fish market... the food qwasnt too bad... and the flame grilled prawns were damn nice!!! and the flame grilling as you can see is realli quite a spectacle!!! however the calanari wasnt realli tat nice... hmm... and it was kinda ex...
after tat we wanted to go villa bali to chill... aftre all we kindof had our first date there and after cherylene came back from vancouver we had always wanted to go there again... the drinks and ambience were again excellent and this tme, we even had a pavillion seat all by ourselves!!! strongly recommended for couples!!! (HH jiayou!!! just take 51 from NUS can reach there liao =P)
the best part was realli how i brought cherylene towards the wrong place again when we needed to take bus 52 from like clarke quay to villa bali... after like a gruelling 15min walk, guess wad???!!! we found a durian stall under a blk of flats!!! and we sat down and ate durians by the side!!! damn random... and absolutely wad i like abt being wif her =)
productive afternoon of studying... then after tat played badminton with cherylene and ate dinner at VIVO... now... its back to mugging of cuz!!! jiayou jiayou jiayou!!! and may my flu go away soon!!! =) recently qte a few of you ask me how's thgs between me and cherylene's frens... i think we are doing just fine la... guess ad happened was just a small hiccup... so dun worry guys!!! ok MUGGING TIME!!! =)

picture from an opposition party poster...this picture is from an opposition party propoganda brochure which i received while eating at the deck... firstly, i would like to emphasize that by posting this picture and entry, i am by no means tryg to advertise for them or anythg... its just tat seeing the way that they try to win over the hearts of singaporean youths, i realli think it isnt gonna work...
they claimed that the PAP is greedy and showed a picture woth the ministers dancing on stage... what followed was a message " of course they are dancing the have just received a pay rise of 85%!!!" then the message is followed by the picture which i posted above... while i believe that there are certain degrees of truth to their argument, there is a need to provide more statistical evidence about the overspending of the government and also cited sources for their information which was lacking in the article because ultimately, we are university students and we do need t know what they are saying is based on credible sources... they should also take a more formal and serious approach in the outlook of their brochure...
in any case, down seriously wif flu now.. but i feel kinda relieved that i have cancelled my tuition class for saturday... this week i feel so exhausted... learning driving, studyg and working at the same time.. finished bahasa paper 2dae... and im not tat confident i will do well for it too... but in any case, i just hope for this sem to finish soon and i can take a gd rest... needa go mug now... so... yup, gd luck guys... bye... **sneeezzzeeessss**

korean nian gao! escargot with garlic (snails) at just $6.95!!! cute plate dun ya think?? mashed potato and germa sausages at taka fd court =P seafood paella, risotto cooked in tomato base they say a person hard at work is most charming... wad do u think?? hahhaa a nice way to display clothes... cool =)cherylene looking chuai after 2 shots went in

on fridy was supposed to go out... but cherylene's meeting ended late.. so i decide to go shoot ball lo... cuz recent times my shooting is reali ike F man!! hhahaa... after that cherylene met me at the court and we practiced shooting 2gether!!! woah, altho she is like a beginner, her qie ban realli qte zai haahha... we completed 20 shots taking turns under the basket, which i always miss!!! hahahha.. after tat played abit of bball with 3 gus there... woah, shooting qte on form... hope its not onli for that nite man, ahaha...
went to taka on saturday for dinner with cherylene.. walao... eat super duper lots of food man!!! all in the pictures above!!! we eat at food court also eat til we spent like a total of 30 bucks 2gether!!! haahaha... taka food court rocks... restaurant food at food court pricing...
started riving again 2dae... it was kindof fun... hmm... siong week nxt week, gotta study, learn driving and work!!! RAHHH and i have my bahasa written and oral test 2ml!!! ganbatte gurasai... n i miss u xiong n HH!!!! meet for lunch or somethg? hahaha

cherylene and me at shaslik why dun have me in the pic... is this cher's blog or my blog? hahaa shaslik old school decor chocolate truffle at hob nobs shaslik beef fillet with russian salad $25 =) shaslik lamb with fries and russian salad $18 waitress remving the sizzling meat on the skewer onto the hot plate borsch soup wih sour cream $7 went out ytd finally!!! damn sian of staying in NUS.. seriously man. like this afternoon, studed biopsyche til i felt like crying... its so gd to be able to go gaigai!!! lazy to think of wad to do, we decided on an old school date, seemingly boring but one that we havent gone on for qte some time!!! movies and dinner, back to basics!! =) the gorgeous scarlett johansson and natalie portman with an exciting plot set in england when king henry was still ruling, the other boelyn gal is really a must watch movie! b4 tat wewent to this restaurant called shaslik which i have craved for super duper long man!!! finally!!
this restaurant has a super old school decor inside... a tinge of russian feel, and is called shaslik... so the famous dishes are obviously the shaslik steak which i ate... but the other kinds of meat are equally fantastic, (so maybe some non beef eater hu complained tat i di blog can bring someone there for a romantic dinner =p) basically, they skewer up ya meat and kindof grill it over the fire.. then they will push out a tray with many skewers of meat and serve it onto a hotplate for dining.. love the food there... first ate it in like JC when my mum brought me there... not realli ex for gd steak... dun eat steak if ya r thinking of jacks place... cuz its cheaper onli by a wee bit but the steak sucks... RAAAHHHH

tat day i went to watch the west wing with cherylene... one of her friends was the assistant director for the show.. 23 bucks man... but i think its qte a gd play that was very much worth the money...super duper funny... Peiqin put up a very gd performance too...
after the play, we were leaving UCC...then one of her frens' BF who was also a psyche majorasked me whether the recent test was ok... so i just replied that i studied very hard.. then cherylene jokingly said "yarloz, he studied damn hard lo!!!" then i just casually replied "stop seizing every opportunity to complain la.." suddenly, i was quite scared that her frens might think tat i was like not giving cherylene face in frnt of them... then i thought again... i dun think her frens r realli so bad la... maybe im like thinking too much la...
when i went back hall with cherylene... i apologised to her... then she said "for wad?" so i told her tat i was scared her frens might misunderstand... then she said "dun worry dear, i dont care abt these thgs animore"
tat meant alot to me, thanks dear =)

my diner at the tuition agency! not bad rite??!!! hhahaa lazy snail on the bed...happy singing!!!
just had a practice with my TH vox and xinyao pple for some combined song for 2nites comm close dinner... it was so good to see all of them so happy singg... i suddenly remember how i made my speech as a JCRC member, saying that i want to make sure the pple performing are happy.. and form dance and even VOX, i think we have given pple a chance to try somethg they wun be able to do for free perhaps out of hall... n havg started lots of new concept... TH chillout, outdoor concert wif beer... xinyao n vox external concert at munchie monkeys that as full hse... dinner time performances for the freshies to have more chances to perform.. I think as a JCRC, the hall expects alot of stuff which i do not agree to, like expectg us to attend all hall events, other halls' events, IHG games and stuff... so perhaps, i think i dun satisfy those criteria well, n i dun really feel the need to... but hopefully i had really brightened the cultural scene in TH...
Another thing that bothers me is that there is this thing called the masters list... so sportsmen that are outstanding can really just bum around for the whole year except play that one sport... then they still can get hall stay the next year... for cultural pple, even if ya r outstandg... if ya do not have enough points, you not onli have to sacrifice your holidays to do hall suff like orientation, you will only be on the so called waiting list.. meaning you might not even get a room in the end...
I guess for me, next year shld be the last for hall stay, cuz i think i really just wanna spend time doing other stuff... n hope the next cultural director can make some changes to the master's list... if not, culture in temasek will always be just a dispensable asset which will never overtake the other halls...
